We spent countless hours trying different tutors on various tutoring websites. It usually took 2-3 days to get a response and half the time, the tutor that came over didn't know the material that well. He would spend most of his time looking through the book and relearning it....WHILE WE PAID FOR IT. We were referred to San Diego Tutor from a friend and decided to call. To our surprise we were able to talk to someone immediately and have a tutoring session scheduled the same day. Their prices are very competitive but I would say their customer service and quality of tutors make them the company to use. I wish I would have found them sooner.

There was a time that our son had a test and his normal tutor had a family emergency. We contacted San Diego Tutor and they had a substitute for us the same day. I called San Diego Tutor pretty angry because I just went through a frustrating experience with another tutoring company. The other company sent over 3 different tutors and all 3 didn't know the material. Pessimistically thinking I would have the same experience here, I was delightfully WRONG. San Diego Tutor was able to send over a qualified tutor the next day and we used him throughout the year for Physics and Calculus.

We used the same tutor for the rest of the semester with no problems! Wish we used San Diego Tutor initially but everything worked out in the end.
